Vendor Policy Guidelines

Plum Wild Boutique provides quality handmade, crafted items or purchased items to our customers. Plum Wild Boutique offers rental rates for a variety of budgets. We take pride in our business home and take care to ensure all items are in a clean, safe and organized space.

To ensure that both Plum Wild Boutique and vendors agree, we have the following guidelines:

Rental of Booth Area:

The rental agreement initially is for 3 months, and month to month, thereafter, if both parties agree. 

The first month’s rent is due at time of application. Depending on the time of the month, the rent will be prorated based on days left in the initial month. The second month’s rent will be deducted from your monthly sales. If your rent is greater than your sales, you will receive an invoice for the balance owed. If your rent is less than your monthly sales, you will receive an invoice for the total amount due, then directly following, you will receive an invoice reflecting, rent paid. Payment is considered late if not paid by the 8th of each month. A $10 late fee will apply for each 5-day period after the 8th.

A 20% commission will be charged on vendor sales unless otherwise stated on the application.

We do not charge vendors for credit card fees. Plum Wild is responsible for paying credit card fees.

Sales tax will be charged at the point of sale and will be paid to the Oklahoma Tax Commission by Plum Wild Boutique.

Any altering to the booth/space that damages the walls, carpet, or ceiling is not allowed unless pre-approved by Plum Wild Boutique staff. Purposeful damages to your booth, wall space or display case will cause you to lose your booth space.

Only the person(s) listed on the agreement will be allowed to restock the booth/space or remove items.

If Vendor decides to discontinue rental of booth/space after the initial, three-month period, a 30-day written notice is required. All rent/fees due or past due must be paid before removal of merchandise. Merchandise will be held in lieu of payment of any past due rent/fees due to Plum Wild. After 14 days, the items being held will be considered abandoned and sole property of Plum Wild Boutique.


Though we will take great care in trying to prevent breakage or theft of items, Plum Wild Boutique is not responsible for items that are broken, missing or stolen.

Please NOTE: Your items will not be covered by insurance through Plum Wild Boutique. You are responsible for insurance necessary to cover your items in your booth/space.

No perishable items that have expired dates may be sold and will be removed from your booth/space.

Please ensure that all items have a string tag, sticky tag or other affixed label that clearly shows your Vendor Name, sku and price. ***Plum Wild creates bar codes in “Square” for accounting purposes. Plum Wild will affix our bar codes to the back of your tag.

When adding new items, vendors are required to provide updated Excel spreadsheet provided by Plum Wild Boutique. Please allow 3 days for Plum Wild to create bar codes and add to stock. If the vendor provides Excel spreadsheet prior to delivery of stock, barcodes can be created and ready when you deliver your inventory.

When removing inventory, Plum Wild will provide an inventory removal sheet. It is required that the vendor and a member of the Plum Wild staff sign off on any item removed.

Please visit your booth at least once a week to ensure that you have plenty of stock. If your booth is running low on items, Plum Wild Boutique staff will contact you in the interim.

It is required for you to provide an inventory list in Excel to the Plum Wild Boutique Staff. Plum Wild will provide you a clean inventory Excel spreadsheet upon move in. All documents are available on our Plum Wild Staff Facebook page also.

Plum Wild Boutique reserves the right to restrict which items will be offered for sale.

Any item that does not have a tag will not be sold. It will be placed in a holding area. If you have an item that should be in your booth, but doesn’t show up on your items sold list, then consult Plum Wild Boutique staff to see if it is in the “Lost and Found”. You will be required to show proof that it is listed in your inventory.

If an item is illegal to sell in Oklahoma, then do not try to sell it at Plum Wild Boutique. We will contact the police.  

If you choose to run a special or discount, please notify Plum Wild Boutique staff prior to repricing items or posting signage. 

All inventory items that do not sell must be picked up by the ending date of the rental agreement.  All items not picked up within fourteen (14) calendar days after the ending date of the agreement will be considered abandoned and will become the sole property of Plum Wild Boutique.


Vendors are responsible for their own trash. We have trash dumpsters available; please see Plum Wild Boutique staff for location.


Sales will be calculated at the end of each month. Commission checks will be issued no later than the 8th of each month unless the 8th falls on a weekend or holiday. In which case, the checks will be available the following business day. An email will be sent out when checks are issued.

Rental payments will be deducted from commission checks unless sales are less than rent. (See booth rental) Checks can only be issued to the vendor listed on the agreement.

Plum Wild Boutique reserves the right to refuse service or terminate business with any vendor at their discretion. Plum Wild Boutique also reserves the right to restrict which items will be offered for sale.

Hours of operation, days of operation and modes of advertising can and will change, which does not nullify or change vendor agreements. Typical hours of operation will be from 10:00AM-6:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Plum Wild will be closed on Sunday and Monday. Hours are subject to change for special events, events in and around the Rose District, Seasons/Holidays, and/or weather.

The store will be closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. (All subject to change.)

During the year, we will host a variety of open houses, sales, promotions, classes, etc. Vendors will be notified of these promotions at least 14 days prior to the beginning of the event or sale. Notice will be given in the form of an email. We will email to the email given at application time. If email is not “returned undeliverable”, then we will consider you as notified. If returned undeliverable, we will text or call you to clarify email address and notify you of the sale. These sales and frequency are at the discretion of the Plum Wild Boutique staff. The purpose of the open house, sale or promotion is to increase traffic to our business home (store) and to increase your sales. Our plan is to offer these events no less than 4 but not more than 6 times a year.

Examples of events: Grand Opening – Register for our newsletter or emails and receive 10% discount on total purchases over $50. Special Events: Store wide sale– 10% off entire purchase.
